No more compression or barb fittings, just cut the pipe with a simple John Guest Tube Cutter and push the pipe into the fitting. The collet (gripper) inside the fitting has stainless steel teeth which hold the pipe firmly in position while the 'O' ring provides a permanent leak proof seal.
